New Beauty Favorites: August 2013

So, soon... I'll start posting my favorite beauty products for the month on given months that I try things within makeup; skincare; and the like...something refreshing for my blog :)

This month; I've encountered a great deal of new products; especially from Avon and some lovely new additions from the drugstore. I'm excited to share my favorites so far.

1. Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Foundation - I was a little hesitant at first given the last foundations I tried weren't great with coverage and they looked terrible on my skin but I have to give emilynoel83 the credit here for mentioning it and raving about it so often in her makeup videos on YouTube.

The texture is reminiscent of a high end foundation and the coverage is comparable to any MAC foundation so far. I especially enjoy the semi-matte finish (satin finish) that it leaves. Beautiful enough to not wear a powder but; I never go without setting. So, it's a dream but one I am enjoying so far. I think I will continue wearing this one.

2. Flower BB Cream - I've heard from many gurus on YouTube about the full coverage side of this BB cream and while it's not as full coverage as a foundation can be; it's still impressive in the gesture that it covers as good as any foundation in the drugstore lineup - minus Covergirl's Outlast foundation. I like the creamy texture and the lasting finish. It gives you such a natural finish that just can't measure in some other BB creams I've tried.

3. Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Healing & Repair Lotion - I got this from a friend I work with and I had been very curious about it. I have very dry and acne prone skin; so this was a definite must try for me. Considering it's an Avon product; I was intrigued, considering that I have enjoyed almost everything I've bought from their company so far. It really moisturizes, doesn't feel clunky; and it lasts. The only downside I didn't like was the scent but it is hardly noticeable and is relative in almost any other moisturizer. It can definitely do.

4. Hard Candy Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer - This concealer is fantastic in that it covers better than so many other concealers at the drugstore. It's even comparable to my favorite concealer from Amazing Cosmetics. While it boasts great results; the only downside is that it will fade by the end of the evening. I'll still be using my Amazing Cosmetics concealer but I will hold onto this for my work days. All in all; I would definitely buy this again.

5. Physicians Formula Youthful Wear Powder (Creamy Natural) - This powder is definitely a dupe for MAC Studio Fix Plus Powder Foundation as stated by a famed YouTuber recently. I loved that finally I was given a great powder that works just as well as my $31 MAC powder that I love so much.

My MAC powder is great as setting and adding full coverage to my makeup when it's clearly in need of some help; so it definitely lives up to the name. It's expensive however and I found the dupe mentioned worked just as well; if not better than my favorite MAC counterpart.

Did I mention that I've hit pan on my MAC powder lately; it was time for a refill... why not try a dupe out in the meantime?

6. Maybelline Color Whisper Lipstick (Pin Up Peach) - This lipstick is wonderful. I get a natural finish; it's beautifully sheer but buildable, and the experience I feel when applying this is comparable to my favorite from their line; Baby Lips. I will definitely be adding more colors to my collection soon.

I have a ton of other things to share later on possibly but I haven't tested them out enough to truly add them to this list; when I do however; you will see my post another post here for your eyes to enjoy!

The only thing I haven't tried yet is the Hard Candy Bronzer (Tiki) which is used as a highlight more so because it's so light. I've tried to purchase it but it's been sold out for almost a month or so now. People really love that stuff. It's a dupe for MAC's Mineralized Skin Finish in Soft & Gentle; perhaps people have caught onto this?

Eventually... eventually <3

Homophobic silence (a rant for the stereotypes)

It's not often you find a boy scared to embrace other sides of 'gay' living like the fact that I'm willing to express parts of myself and what I feel to the public that most military men could only dream about.

I'm a modern day diva. Maybe that's why no one wants to get to know me or they drop me like a pin to water. It's not right or fair but someone has to suffer right?

I'd rather be myself and happy with what I see than be a scared child inside of a man's body and THAT my dear is you. You're too afraid to embrace what is in front of you. That's fine though; there have been plenty before you I've let go and well, there will be plenty after you to let go.

Men; they hate fem guys apparently. If they don't; I dare someone out there to prove me otherwise. I seriously dare you. If you fail; be gone. If you succeed in proving it isn't a dead end; may I be slapped in the face for it.

Maybe it's because I'm not a part of the overall 'gay' community ordeal. I never felt like I belonged in the community. I've always felt like I am a separate being; someone that is beyond cliques and childs play. It's seriously childs play these days.

You're either part of the typical (boyish and prep styles with a clash of Beyonce and Ke$ha) or you're like me... a human being left behind by the very people who were set free BECAUSE of my kind

You're welcome. Just don't expect me to go beyond history to be something you can destroy as you did with all the others before me.

Why must you disconnect my calls constantly? :(

I'm switching back to Straight Talk as soon as I can. This is getting ridiculous!?!

Wantable 2013 August Box Review

The other day I posted a blog post that gave you a preview of what I received in this month's beauty box subscription from Wantable and I have to say; I'm loving everything I received, with one minor exception created to relearn one of the products that I easily hated at first.

Here's a look at the entire box if you miss my previous post the other day:

Courtesy of Wantable.com (August Box)

So, the first thing you want to do is make sure you have some coffee on hand; or if you're European; some refreshing tea and maybe some biscuits?

I'm going to start off with my most favorite item all the way down to my least favorite item in this months beauty box. So here we go...

Lise Watier Eyebrow Essentials (Brunette)

Well, what can I not say about this product... it's compact and easily friendly with any travel bag or purse; so I could easily take this on-the-go with me to work or out with me on a road trip.

The powder offers a nice finish that is a beautifully matte coverage and the included tools are rivals of some of the high end brushes and tools I've come across in my time with exploring makeup.

With the brushes angled curve and the firm bristles; it will really get into the brow hairs and brush on the color beautifully. Many people know that I've raved my NYX Twin cake brow duo for ages but this product even tops the excellence of that product. I've never used such a great eye defining powder as this one.

Find more of these products at www.lisewatier.com

It comes with it's own brush and a small mini tweezer which is an excellent travel companion and both provide excellent high quality finishes.

This retails at $23 USD. From researching the company; they are a canadian brand cosmetic and can also be found in boutiques in Paris, France. I'm not sure if Paris, is their headquarter but overall; this product is one of the best I've tried in a very long time. I will repurchase this after I run out.

As with any brow powder; you always want to set them with a clear brow gel. I recommend a nicely priced one from ULTA. You can easily find these at many drugstores too; including a fan favorite; Maybelline's $4 Great Lash clear mascara. It will really set them in place and make them look so beautiful and natural.

Cailyn Linefix Gel Pencil (Charcoal)

This next product was something I was a little nervous about because I don't come across gel pencils very often but when I do; I've fallen in love with them and this one is no exception. This gel pencil is fantastic.

The pigmentation is excellent, the finish is long lasting and super flawless; an ideal match for any bold or sophisticated look.

The texture of the gel is very buttery smooth and it glides on with ease and precision unlike some of the drugstore brands I've tried. It's one of the best of it's kind that I've tried so far and I am curious to try other colors from this brand.

It has some slight shimmer included but nothing over the top and it looks great even when you smudge it out or use it as an eyeshadow base.

This retails at $17 USD. Considering my luck with this pencil; I would say this pencil is suitable for any beginner or intermediate makeup wearer because it is so creamy and smooth; it's hard to mess it up.

I also love that the tip doesn't seem to clump or break down as with so many other pencils out there do. You barely have to touch your lids and waterline because this pencil will easily give you color that's sure to make all the boys notice. You can find more of their products at www.cailyncosmetics.com

Whip Hand LIP HIT Long Wear Lip Veneer (Entice)

Lip Veneers are something I've never even tried nor heard of but I automatically assume it's just a fancy industry word for full coverage lip gloss; which is exactly what this product is.

The creamy moisture inducing texture is reminiscent of a lip stick and yet boasts the shine factor of a high end lip gloss. The color in itself is pleasing enough and perfect for any decadent or fall intrigued look.

Hence the reason this was included in the fall box this month.

The formula seems to be quite good at staying power and pigmentation is certainly pleasing. It has better pigmentation than some of the MAC lipsticks I've tried recently.

The only thing I will say about this is that I've noticed it will have clumps from time to time or at least little grains of lipstick stick to my lips; but this is minor and easily fixable with a firm lip brush.

I use my Eco Tools lip brush to fan out any grains that sometimes come off from this lip veneer and it looks beautiful and flawless after doing so. It won't settle into your fine lines and it won't 'cake' up as some lip glosses and lipsticks do.

The only downfall is that you will definitely want to apply a lip moisturizer prior because this will eventually dry out your lips after a while and it will definitely need touching up if you do any heavy duty eating or drinking.

Overall though; I'd recommend this to anyone that wants a full coverage lip without any serious problematic woes.

This retails for $20 USD. The company is based in Detroit, Michigan and their cosmetic products are among some top beauty guru faves. Check them out at www.whiphandcosmetics.com

Japonesque Travel Smudger Brush

A lot could be said about how many beauty bloggers and YouTube gurus have raved over and over again about Japonesque brushes; they are pricey but they among some of the best high end brushes on the market.

The funniest thing happened when I ordered this box. I was browsing online and saw this same brush on ULTA's website.

I kept thinking to myself; "I really need to get one of those for my eyeshadows" and with immense surprise; the wonderful curators at Wantable somehow magically knew I wanted one of these because it popped up in my box when I opened it.

Instantly I knew the brand and fell in love; knowing that this brush would be an excellent addition to my collection.

The brush has very soft and gentle bristles with enough firmness to really get into your crease and blend out any eyeshadow or pigment you'd ever desire to use. It can also double as an eyeshadow packer too!

I've used this brush for a few days now and I am looking no further for any other brush for this. It provide such an airbrushed finish; beautiful coverage and blendability and almost no effort was needed to achieve the look I wanted to go for.

I highly recommend this product to anyone who is starting out and needs a great smudge brush. It's one of the best brushes in my eyepiece collection and I will definitely be looking into more of their products soon.

This retails for $14.50 USD. Japonesque is based in San Ramon, California and you can find more of their products online at www.japonesque.com

Echo Vie All Natural Lip Balm (Sample)

I've always been a fan of all natural and vegan friendly products. Some of my favorite products come from organic brands. Though the price tag may prohibit some of you to become more eco friendly; this product is sure to change your mind about that and may you have the softest lips you desire.

The texture of this balm is fantastic. It's not extremely waxy or terribly chemically in scent. It's overall; a refreshing twist of Peppermint Oil (included with Jojoba and other essentials) and has no parabens, petrochemicals, or synthetic coloring.

This little bad boy boasts so many versatile uses that I would even call this a moisturizer, fixer, chapstick, lip gloss, etc. I've been able to use this for so many different uses that I know I will be purchasing this item for sure. It's an excellent base before applying your lipstick as well.

The website only provides two 'color' choices (though color is hardly given with these) which are sheer (original clear) and sheer pink (a light dust of pink) which is sure to please an au naturel girl who doesn't like to wear a full amount of makeup everyday.

This retails for $15 USD (according to www.echovie.com) and the company (created by a Chicago native) is based in Chicago. You can find more of these products at www.echovie.com

Michael Marcus Waterproof Mascara (Black)

I'm not going to lie here but I hated this product with a passion at first. The formula is extremely wet and hard to manage without a little tweaking done by a clever love of scraping the brush atop the container prior to application.

On it's own; it didn't do much for me and it was far from waterproof. It transferred terribly; smeared almost instantly after application and it didn't curl, volumize, or lengthen as it stated on the description for the product.

It was an overall cheap feeling mascara that really didn't live up to anything but giving your lashes a coat of color.

I found the best way to use this mascara is as a base or a finishing mascara. Take your favorite mascara and apply as you normally would; then take this mascara and apply it over top after it's dried. It will make your lashes look more natural and give them a little boost.

This mascara retails for $24 USD. The company is said to be based in Europe but the packaging shows it's made in Texas. We may never know. Anyway, find more of his products at www.michaelmarcus.com

Well, overall this box was amazing, fun, and exciting to receive. It's like Christmas everyday and speaking of which; if you have a family member that is a super makeup fiend; this is THE gift to get them.

It's an excellent box and I am sticking with my subscription.

While Wantable is not perfect; they strive very hard to please you and to meet your beauty needs. I say; they do quite an excellent job at it. Keep those treats coming Wantable. You've won my heart!

By the way, if you're wondering what the end result of using all of these amazing products would be; look no further than a snapshot from yours truly:

PS: Wantable now offers a new box for intimate wear. Girls; check this out!

Why dating is not my forte

For a while now, I've been single and it's worked out toward my advantage. I find that time and time again; I'm happier dealing with things on my own than the constant burden that I may fail the person that has taken my heart.

There is a guy (a few of them actually) that have spawned conversations with me; they intended on getting to know me. The problem with that is; none of them actually went through with those plans.

Getting to know someone is far more than just a few casual conversations or sharing a cup of coffee together. It takes much more than that and many of the men that have attempted to sustain forbidden desires; failed this test horribly.

I know, I know; I'm quite the diva. I can't say that I can blame a guy for not wanting to follow through but I equally give myself each time; so it's fair to say; it may very well just be bad timing or lack of connection.

I'm not a boring person (at least I don't see myself in such a manner) but many people may be more justified to consider such a trait my biggest of accomplishments. For that, I nod simply and walk towards another direction that will suit me.

My point is that; if you're going to date someone else, don't expect me to 'get to know' you during that time. Unless I otherwise state that I'm okay with just a friendship; it's not okay and I find it disrespectful.

It's a front to the person you are currently sharing intimate relations with and it also drags me (an indepently innocent person) into a scene that isn't desired.

It seems that I might have lost my spark however. I don't clearly notice if I'm being hit on; I don't even notice the signs that someone is trying to gain my attention. So dear dating expert; help me out here. What do I need to do for a guy to actually do what a guy should do to get a relationship? Do I need to cut my hair; dye my hair even? Is it the tight pants? Should I wear a wig and do more glamourous makeup?

These are the trials and tribulations of a single retail queen. If only I could give some people a rollback or a markdown. It could be easier to follow the footsteps that come after.

Men; sometimes I think I should get tits and be done with it. Tits would make things easier.

A very wantable surprise

Many of my readers, friends, and family members all know how obsessed I am with beauty products and makeup products. I found a solution to help my craving each month and while it seems pricey at first; it's actually well worth the monthly price, considering you gain your monies worth and then some.

On average; each box will total at or above $80 in retail price. While you only pay $36 a month for these glorious personalized beauty boxes that are sure to satisfy anyone from a drugstore junkie to a high end beauty queen.

My box has arrived and I must say; this is one amazing personalized box... it's like they knew what I was wanting before I even thought of it... Here's how it works...

You visit their website and fill out a beauty quiz which will help in shaping what you like, love, and dislike and overall shape what they will send to you in your beauty boxes each month.

Every month they have special makeup artists (many of which are highly famous or raved in the beauty world) to curate products just for you and all of the products you get will be full sized luxury brand items; no cheap stuff here.

Pretty soon; I'll start posting my reviews for each box every month on all the items. All my opinions will be my own and I'm not getting paid to review these; I simply feel like voicing what I love and don't love in my boxes; this in the end will also help shape future boxes. See, part of the program is helping Wantable become a better beauty box and helping them shape what brands and products that we want to see or try.

Many of the brands I've seen featured in these from YouTube reviews and such are actually from all over the globe; mostly in Europe. For example, Lise Watier is a Canadian made cosmetic company but they are based in Paris, France. Michael Marcus is said to be another European brand and Face Stockholm is a swedish brand cosmetic company.

I can't wait to share my experiences with you guys. I hope you'll enjoy what I will show off to you and what I will review. There are some amazing products included in these boxes and I'm happy with my purchase. I highly recommend anyone who loves makeup or beauty like I do; to please, give this subscription a try. It's one of the best out there and you will not be sorry you got one!

Well my loves, it's time to take a shower and get prepared to meet my new beauty friends... so far, we have the following items to try out:

1. Eco-friendly and eco-conscious lip balm from a Chicago native. (will reveal more later in the review I'll be doing)

2. Smudge brush (I seriously needed one of these and now; I won't have to worry about it)

3. Waterproof Mascara

4. Gel liner (it's beautiful and I've never worn gray before; this will be interesting)

5. Eyebrow kit (everyone that knows me, knows that I rely on these. They are my favorite must haves)

6. Lip Veneer (it's a full coverage lip gloss and my oh my it's gorgeous. Will be perfect for my Fall looks this year)

To give you a better idea of what I got; here's a snapshot:

All in all, this will be a fun review. So keep checking back; I'll post a review soon!

Back to basics

So, as a reader of other blogs on this wonderful world of blogging; I've run into something that was brought to my attention recently. I have to strongly agree here because I can definitely see the limitations of my commenting system.

Today, that limit has been lifted. No longer will you need an account with Google+ or Facebook and you will be able to post anonymously as well if you need to protect your identity for any reason.

We live in a world full of opinions and while I understand that this may also open the door to abuse; I am willing to support complete freedom on my blog in exchange for your voices heard. Here is proof that it is ready for your use:

So please, comment away, if you please.

PS: I'm retiring 'Reactions' from the blog today; it's outdated and it seems like a useless feature to have. If you feel otherwise; feel free to sound off below and I may consider keeping it if your comment inspires me.

Into the abyss

A few days ago, I mentioned to a friend or few that I've finally decided; it's time to give up. The L-O-V-E train hasn't stopped in my neighborhood just yet and I suppose that when it does finally do so; I'll have found something more important to encompass into my array of living.

It's a stab inside of the crest of who you have been for so long; somehow it seems like it gets easier to be alone at night because there isn't the hassle of relearning the bitter halves of the other roads. I sometimes believe that I bring on the neglect myself. Am I not too convincing; or do I lack the substance that men here are looking for? Maybe God is telling me to find something stronger than man? Does it start with a conversation or is it far more complex than these feeble minds can handle?

Ah, the great journey to learning more of myself that I feared was gone. Yet so many are divided by their covers of me that they've never noticed that behind these mascara eyes lies a being that needs to find something more than everyone else. I need to connect back to where I was once. Though I have my ups and downs with this walk I am taking; it tends to the circle of lies I have to tell myself sometimes to push ahead.

See, I never wanted to admit it but I'm a very sensitive heart. I can't hide the fact much longer or else it may very well consume me. I don't like to express the discomfort I feel when someone is no longer interested in learning about me; I don't like to meet people for the curse that is in me from time to time; that bit by bit that no one can understand or attach to.

So as I carry into the grassy meadow that is this land; I walk with a torn heart awaiting repair; I walk with a smile awaiting a kiss; and I'll continue to walk with a hand waiting for a connection because that's why life is difficult; you are here on this earth to connect to something or someone. I no longer believe that for me; I should follow upon someone. Maybe my heart was meant to dance in the ambiance of rejoicing. Maybe I was meant to be on my own. An independent child of the sky.

Don't wait for me because I'm no longer waiting for you my darling love. I'm no longer in love with your idea of happiness; there is more than that for me. I must believe it. I must channel that thought before losing control of my emotions. We're no good if we're broken.

Freestyle lyric: Anti-hate

"They wrote stories about you...inside that book we all knew...threw their stones with hatred like stains...if you knew...what I've dealt with along the way...would it give you some open faith?"
The above lyric is something I wrote to go with what I'm feeling today... I saw that lady again... the one that bitched me out over me being gay... telling me I needed to dress and act like a 'man' but I've always believed... what defines your gender? Is it your penis or your vagina that does? I don't think so... I think gender to me is all in the mind... you can be who you feel you want to be... forcing anything is not of good in my opinion... it never goes well...

That's just my little rant... I'll deliberate upon it more later... goodnight my beautiful ones <3

We can all agree

Lady Gaga's latest album 'ARTPOP' sounds terrible and is probably one of the most vile albums to be released in 2013 so far. Horrible vocals, terrible lyrics, and mediocre sound. Can't get better than corporate media can it?

After all, the queen of carbon copying isn't so good as people believed. Looks like her music just keeps getting shittier and shitter with every release. Do us all a favor Gaga; retire... you've had your run... let the talented run the show, okay?

When you're feeling down; whip out your camera; pose a great angle and snap a picture of yourself. In my case however; I wanted to feel very model like and wanted to channel a piece of myself into the photo. I love wigs because you can truly define a photo in a different light. It adds to your photographic art.

It's not the best but I really love this picture. Even if I feel that my arms look kind of fat; pure muscle baby; this girly boy is working hard for his money ;)

I call it Electric Indulgence

As a bonus... I snapped a few others that afternoon... I wanted to showcase my makeup look that I was trying out for the evening... it was very bubblegum but I think overall it was beautiful to photo... my first time using mostly MAC foundation (recommended to me via YouTube)

Goldfrapp's new album 'Tales of Us'

If you haven't had a chance to snag a first listen to it; I urge you to look into such. This album is very decadent in simplicity and jazz undertones with a lot of folk and classical mixtures combined to create a very David Lynch meets Alison Goldfrapp style.

The signature Goldfrapp style that started it all with Goldfrapp's highly enjoyed 'Felt Mountain' with hints of melodies similar to those found on 'Seventh Tree' and this album will surely not disappoint. If you love the English countryside and sipping tea on mellow days; this album will definitely set the mood. It's a masterpiece awaiting the shelves. As a Goldfrapp fan, I must say this is one of their finer albums they'll be releasing. It was a pleasure to have a first listen to it.

Have a listen to the first single off of their newly anticipated album; 'Tales of Us' entitled 'Drew'... what makes this album interesting is that all the track titles (with the exception of Stranger) is in third person and yet when asked on the making of the album; Alison has stated that the album follows the emotions that her and Will Gregory have encountered over the time from their last record.

Without further chat; here is their new single 'Drew' (The official video has nudity; but artistic nudity) - If you have trouble viewing the music video here; visit their Vimeo page to see the full edition of the video in HD.

Official Track listing:

1. Jo
2. Annabel
3. Drew
4. Ulla
5. Alvar
6. Thea
7. Simone
8. Stranger
9. Laurel
10. Clay

The new album is set to release in September. More details can be found on Goldfrapp's official website.

Love Flow

You walk the same
You speak the way; I do

I whisper my hurts
It never got worse
Before you

Oh lonely sky; where are the moments I saw?
Twisted lines; dented into my skin for the night
But you don't hear it; again
But you won't be there; at the end

I put my heart on second best
I drop and fall; I'm innocent
Just leave; I needed that
Before the sun came
I'd change again
But you won't admit it
You love me after all the pain

I feel like satin
Covered in curtains
Hiding the things I never want to say
Try to give the best away

Get your wish at my tear
Climb the wall and disappear
Sleepless carolina nights
Hot summer and smooth fall delights
Never measures to what I knew
But that cloud is forever moved
I'm not the same person I once used

I put my heart on second best
I drop and fall; I'm innocent
Just leave; I needed that
Before the sun came
I'd change again
But you won't admit it
You love me after all the pain

Sometimes it takes more than goodbye to breathe
Sometimes it takes more than fights to be

Carry me away
Oh naked storm
Carry me away
So I won't bleed it anymore

I put my heart on second best
I drop and fall; I'm innocent
Just leave; I needed that
Before the sun came
I'd change again

Again

Blemish party

Well, it's a first in a long time. I haven't had a blemish in ages. Especially one that hurts a bit when I go overtop of it with a little mineral makeup to cover it. Seems however that the blame is pointed to one of my favorite concealers. Amazing Cosmetics has an 'amazing' concealer and while it covers so tremendously; it will cause you to breakout.

I applied it the other day in replacement for my usual foundation and voila; a day later... a mountain appears on my upper cheek area. It's like fate is telling me never to use this concealer on my face again and reserve it for my under eye region as I did before. Perhaps there is some truth to it.

I've been reading recently on some trick and tips of the trade that transgendered women have when it comes to hiding shadows and facial hair and it amazes me that one of the products they use is from MAC cosmetics. Even more shocking is that it is cheaper in comparison to another holy grail product for concealing facial hair; Dermablend Cover Creme. Either way, I'm going to give it a go.

I go to work with a full face of makeup on and my lashes carefully applied but my makeup tends to 'disappear' at times or it will fade away in the most critical areas. Covering facial hair is the hardest thing to do when it comes to makeup and that's why if I ever become a makeup artist; it will be my first challenge that I will master. I want to be able to flawlessly cover it; look good; and have excellent lasting power.

The problem with a lot of makeup is that it is either too sheer or the so called 'full coverage' foundations are not full coverage enough. It also lies in the formula and color mixture. For example; you have red, pink, yellow, and every so often, blue based foundations out there. The short term is there are tons of different colors and bases.

I've learned that to counteract dark facial hair; you need any foundation or concealer with a red or orange base; this will help diminish some of the shadowing that can come from your facial hair. A lot of people show just rubbing in a product with your fingers but the best way to apply is with a high quality foundation brush. It's going to really get into those places your fingers won't and really help to cover and conceal them.

Still, I should probably invite more of my blemish mountain's friends over. He seems lonely over there just waiting to erupt from a week full of intense concealing. Dear skin; I'm sorry. Could you forgive me and make mister blemish disappear now? Thanks...

Ah, the life of an everyday makeup wearer... however did they do it back in the B.C. and A.D. days?

Young heart
Call into the night
Wish for more than enough
Long for a fight

Girls steal
Boys lie
Men hate
Women try

World is full of emptiness
Music still meaningless
Words are attached to your chest
The cycle will never end

(Instrumental)

Higher hopes
Lower dreams
Structured devastations
Calming scenes

World is so persuasive
Young death it seems
Sad little choices
Cling onto things

Women leave
Men cheat
Boys fight
Girls believe

Young heart
Call into the night
Wish for more than enough
Long for a fight

The cycle will never end

Before the Dead Come

All those pretty faces want to sell your soul
Cheap mistakes settle in for another hole
And if you dare wonder; you might let go
Over and out; the good was never told

And so you wonder
How do lights keep shining on
The rain is your beckon call
Before the dead come

All those silent laughs cover you with shame
Whispers of clashing vanity from your veins
Voices locked between your uncertainty
If we could remember; it's not the same

And so you wonder
How do light keep shining on
The rain is your beckon call
Before the dead come

All those pretty faces
All those pretty faces
(want to sell you for thrills)
All those pretty faces
(never stand still for loves)
All those pretty faces
(secretly crash your name)
All those pretty faces
All those pretty faces
(never love at all)

It's locked in your dreams
Before the dead come
